For the smoothie base:

1 banana
1 cup of spinach or kale (frozen or fresh)
1 dash of lime juice
Water, coconut water or apple juice

Add-ins for flavor (fresh or frozen):

Mixed berries
Mango
Pineapple
Peaches
Kiwi
Pear


Cube all desired ingredients and dump them in a blender or food processor and puree. Experiment with flavors. I happen to love a strawberry, banana, kiwi combo or mixed berries but I'm sure you'll find a flavor just right for you. Add more or less liquid depending on your desired thickness. Kids actually love these smoothies and you don't have to tell them all the healthy stuff that's in it — that's up to you!
