Summer means family, birthdays, and happiness. I have some wonderful childhood memories of summer. Pam
Summer means: family reunions and get-togethers, company and vacations, time at the beach, relaxing, time with seldom seen best friends, and time of reflection of past summers.. Roxie
Swimming in a pool, blowing bubbles, pretty sandals, pedicures, BBQ. Did I miss anything? Bernadette
Vacations, relaxation and fun. Sharon
Being free: free of some clothing, free of being closed up inside, free to swim, free to run outdoors. Seems like the winter just closes us up in a cave. Dawn
Summer is a lot of things to me but what I want to share is how the smell of summer mornings triggers an entire boatload of memories for me. It transports me back to the feeling of waking up on my own, window open, fresh morning air coming in, sometimes the smell of mimosa tree blossoms or apple tree blossoms joined in. The way that summer just "felt" with no schedule or agendas, just time to play explore and have fun. Even as a mom with young kids I would feel that way. Bridget
Sitting outside and playing music, watching the chickens eat watermelon, swimming in the lake, fishing and watching my garden grow (not to mention all the fresh fish and veggies I get to enjoy!) Michele
I hope you’re having a watermelon eating-swimming-barbecuing-gone fishing-fresh veggie-relaxing kind of summer! It doesn’t take any money or travel to have a great, memory-making summer, just remember that. Call your friends, your family and make the good times of summer come to life. Just a thought.
