She’s right! It’s the price I pay for having beautiful flowers, fresh vegetables and fruit trees that produce copious amounts of fruit. I even love the blackberries when they’re not completely taking over. I stinkin’ love spring and summer! I’m a little obsessed with my garden. In fact, I got so excited about gardening this morning; I wet my plants… It’s true.
What are you passionate about? Maybe gardening isn’t your thing, but maybe art is. Or perhaps you cook or star gaze or bird watch or read or tell jokes! I just heard about one man who decided in his late sixties he was going to retire and start telling jokes. So he did and now he does stand-up comedy successfully. I know another man who took up the clarinet in his seventies. He never got really good at it, but he sure loved trying nonetheless. If you have an inclination to do something, then do it! The desire was placed in your heart for a reason – possibly to bless you, possibly to bless others, but probably both.
