Looking back, I think destiny put me into the media business. One could say that I have been prepped since childhood. My father was a sports writer for a Latin Seattle newspaper. I grew up surrounded by sports greats, many of whom became family friends. I was lucky enough to explore the locker rooms, baseball fields, and other intimate areas most kids only dream about.
I come from a family of four children. There are three boys: Aaron, the oldest; myself; and our younger brother, Kenny. The baby of the bunch is our 4-year-old sister, Ruthie.
I live with my girlfriend Jaymiee - who I met while working for Clear Channel - our puppy, Maria, and my cat, Tigger.
I started my career with Clear Channel Communications, after attending Green River College. I was so eager to get into radio that I worked up to 3 jobs at a time, just to get my foot in the door and have my name known within the company. I was a Deejay on the overnight shift. I did promotions and also worked as a Producer’s Assistant for a morning show. I wore myself out, but in the long run it all paid off: I was offered a full time job as a Remote Coordinator / Engineer for 6 radio stations! My friends would laugh because I was often called an ENGINEER GOD, and frequently talked up about my work ethic.

I recently left Clear Channel, which was a hard thing to do. While Clear Channel will always hold a special place in my life, I am excited to begin a new career with Delilah and all my new friends. Some of my co-workers here I met while still employed with Clear Channel, and some date back even further. I’ve known Leisa for YEARS - since high school to be exact! It is so great to work with someone I have known for so long! It makes it much easier to start this new job…
