My name is Jennifer but I go by Jenna. I grew up in a large family with a lot of traveling back and forth between two households. I have two older brothers, Jon and Dan, a sister Tiffany, and two younger brothers, Jonathon and Joshua. I have always been very close to my parents and I like to remind them that I was the “Golden Child” during my growing up years, though they have a slightly different point of view. My sister and I drove my parents crazy with all the activities and sports we were involved in, but Mom handled it all with a smile on her face.
Throughout school I was uncertain about where I wanted to go and what I wanted to be, but I knew a career path had to be something fun to keep my attention. I became interested in hearing people’s stories and writing when I was in high school. While in high school and college I wrote stories for my school’s newspaper and our local paper.
I have always been outgoing - a go-getter! Asking a million questions became second nature to me. I graduated from the University of Washington in 2001 but still had no idea of what direction I wanted to take. I returned to college a few years later and entered the World of Radio. It is fast paced, busy, hectic, funny, exciting, and I love it! This is my second year in the radio segment of the entertainment industry. I currently work ‘behind the scene,’ helping to keep the wheels of the Delilah Show turning. I am so lucky to have a great job, working with great people. I have made a few good friends and have a great support group in my co-workers.
Christopher is my best friend and my boyfriend and we have fun together. We love to travel and we have more adventures in store this year: cruises, Disneyland, Sea World, Las Vegas, and trips to the mountains to snowboard. I have spent every holiday this past year with his family which has taken me in as one of their own.
Last Valentine's Day I received a kitten; her name is Carrera and she loves to cuddle in my lap. Christopher and I recently bought a home which I absolutely love, and together we have remodeled it inside and out. Now that we have a yard we are able to have outdoor pets. Meet Boxster and Sierra, our adorable puppies. I am so proud of the progress they have made in basic training with me and proud of myself as a new puppy mom! They also keep me fit and enjoy taking long 5 mile walks or shorter 3 mile jogs
In August Christopher asked me to marry him and of course I said “YES”. We are planning to be married in late June of 2007 with the love and support of all of our family and friends. Now I am working extremely hard, through healthy eating and exercise, to lose those pesky 20 pounds that have crept up since high school, I want to look beautiful in my wedding dress for my dearest hubby!
